REPINDEX is a publication of the Pan American Information Network on Environmental Health (REPIDISCA). It has been published without interruption since 1982.
From 1997 onward it is issued every four months. Each issue is dedicated to specialized topic that reflects either a critical situation the Region faces or emergent technologies.
REPINDEX is prepared with the collaboration of the Cooperating Centers. It includes documents in Spanish, Portuguese, English, German and French.
REPINDEX is divided in five sections:
- Theoretical Framework: An expert analyzes a subject from a world point of view.
- Bibliographic Indexes: : Comprises the main index with bibliographic references and a summary of the document and the secondary indexes: by topic, by personal author, by institutional author, and geographic.
- Full Texts: This section includes a selection of the most important document, selected from the bibliography.
- Internet Web Sites:
Includes contacts, web sites about the topic, information about education and training, and web journals.
